Some of the smartest people I know struggle with decision-making.

My favorite example is driving. Have you ever driven a familiar route and arrived at your destination with only a vague memory of the last few miles? You weren't asleep. You weren't unconscious. You were paying enough attention to stay safe...

Welcome to another enlightening blog inspired by my podcast, Mind Power Meets Mystic, where I co-host with the ever-wonderful Cinthia Varkevisser. While she had the day off for this episode, I delved into the fascinating world of behavior change and shared insights from my experience as a hypnotherapist. Today, I want to explore how hypnotherapy can support profound and lasting changes in four common behaviors: hair-pulling, nail-biting, sugar addiction, and alcohol consumption. Let’s dive right in.

As a Human Development Coach with expertise in hypnosis, I work with people in a number of ways. One of my favorite ways to help people is to help them with “new beginnings.” We all have times when we feel the need to make a change and start something new. Coaching and hypnotherapy are outstanding ways to facilitate a change. This short article features four ways I help clients to let go of one thing and to replace it with another that upgrades and better serves them, changing lives.

Is there anything more fascinating than the human mind? The human mind is how we experience the world around us, both the seen and the unseen. For centuries humankind’s curiosity has led to a quest for understanding of the mind and its powers.

Many people don’t understand hypnosis. Even though it has been around in one form or another for thousands of years, many people don’t know what to think about it. We have lots of movies and stories about hypnosis that give people the wrong impression and lead people to question its effectiveness or authenticity. In this article, I’m going to cover a little more about hypnosis, what it is and what it isn’t, and why it might be an effective process for you or someone you care about to shift their thinking or behavior. I’ll go through three potential explanations, paranormal, placebo and psychology.
I'm always looking to meet more people and explore opportunities. Let's connect.
